Production Process

We use multiple production processes in producing apparel, uniforms and embroidered hats. 

"Print Items" may be screen print, screen print transfers, or digital transfers depending on quantity and logos specs.  We use only the highest quality processes to insure speed and durability.  Most uniforms are sublimated.  The sublimation process begins with printing the graphics onto a textile roll.  This roll is cut, stitched, and pressed to completion.  This process us time and labor intensive, thus the different production options for apparel pieces. 

Once an order is placed and enters production, we cannot change the production speed chosen.  Please make sure to understand lead times as explained above and below before you submit your order.

All pieces have measurement guides on the online store website (TUO).  Big League Locker carries sizing runs of every apparel piece within online stores.

Big League Locker offers many different brands for apparel, uniforms, hats, ect. and as such, every brand can have a unique fit for each size.  For example, Adult medium across all brands will be different and fit differently.  If you have questions regarding sizing, please contact before placing your order to schedule a time to try on the apparel to ensure the correct size and fit.  Note: certain types of apparel can shrink in dryer, we recommend hang drying all apparel pieces to ensure durability and longevity.

Parents of players, we recommend you attend sizing and see your player in each available size.  We can also ship sizing samples to ensure your fit is perfect when the final product is complete. 

Keep in mind, Big League Locker does not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for apparel that does not fit. It is your responsibility to determine the correct size or fit.

Production Time, Shipping Time, and In-Hand Date

All orders enter production the following business day. For example, if you place an order on a Saturday, your order will not enter production until Monday.  That is when the production timeline will start. 

Print items (within Big League are typically produced in 5-8 business days, the only exception being for corporate stores with Bulk Orders greater than 8 pieces. 

Sublimated pieces (uniforms, apparel, and hoodies) take 20 business days to produce.  There are upgrade options to express (15 business day) or express plus (10 business days) for sublimated pieces.  If you did not select one of these options but need to, please change that before submitting your order. Adding embroidered player numbers to hats can increase that lead time up to 15 days.  Hats without embroidery are available the next business day, if inventory allows, or up to 15 business days. 

On average, embroidered hats take approximately 10-15 business days to produce.

Production time is the time required to produce the individual piece and does not equate to an in-hand date.  Once a piece completes production it is packed with all other pieces in the order and ships via USPS Priority, UPS, or Fedex. Typical shipping time is 2-3 business days.  The shipping provider assumes all responsibility once package is labeled and dropped off with carrier. Any questions regarding shipment once in procession of shipping provider must be directed to them. Big League Locker is happy to provide tracking number to help, which can be provided by email,  Any concerns with the carrier must go through their inquiry process first.  If package is lost, Big League Locker will remake the order in full.

Big League Locker also offers pickup orders! Pickup orders will be available at Big League Locker production office located off of Seltice between Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  Pickup lockers are located outside the blue building, next to our main glass door.  You will receive detailed directions to our office and locker number with personal access code once your order is ready, packed, and placed in locker.  You will have 7 days between the completion of the order and the pickup deadline.  After seven days, it is the customers responsibility to coordinate a new pickup time or have the order shipped at customer expense. Updates on Orders in Production

All updates on your order with come from us via email. Please, double check your email is current, accurate, and in use.  Please check spam/junk folder after placing order as automated emails can filter there.

Once an order is placed you will receive an email confirmation of your order.  There will be no additional correspondence until your order is complete and is shipping or ready for pickup.  The only exception is if there is an issue with a piece in your order.  If there is a manufacturer delay, item out of stock, or other issue we will email as soon as possible to inform.  Depending on the issue, your order may be held out of production until we receive a response regarding your order.
